Art is a nation's most precious heritage.

“Art is a nation's most precious heritage. For it is in our works of art that we reveal to ourselves and to others the inner vision which guides us as a nation. And where there is no vision, the people perish.” (Lyndon B. Johnson)

The time has come at last to open our doors at Two Street Gallery. The past few months have demonstrated how valuable art is to our being and to our souls. Art has offered us a richness and contemplation even if over the internet. Now is the time to embrace our community and see each other once again. Our opening day will be Friday, June 5 from 12:00 to 5:00pm. This month we will be open from 11:00 to 4:00 Monday through Saturday each week. In accordance with the State of Alaska guidelines we are limiting the gallery to 6 patrons at a time and kindly ask that you wear a face mask.

Our June First Friday will be a virtual First Friday on our Two Street Gallery Facebook page. We are excited to welcome Jennifer Moss as the guest artist this month. Her show goes Live at 5 pm on our Facebook page. Jennifer has a robust body of work and her show entitled Spring Melt will jump start all of our creative juices as we jump into summer. For a primer on Jennifer's diverse body of creative work visit her at https://www.jmossart.com/. The gallery space is too intimate to hold a traditional First Friday at this early stage of re-opening so we are offering both a live Facebook release of Jennifer’s art on Friday June 5 at 5pm and the ability to see her art in the gallery after June 5. Please join us as we celebrate Fairbanks summer and Fairbanks art. Long live summer!
